I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
