I have wagered on countless of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
