black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. It’s a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you slowly build up your bank roll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so akin to a roller coaster the similarities are astounding. As with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seemingly be going well for a time before it bottoms out once again. You most certainly have to be a black jack player who is able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is full of them.

If you like the small coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop on board for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is an awesome feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not find it easy to recollect how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride … your head in the sky. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will clearly recount that disappointing fall as clear as day.
