I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
