I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very fun at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
