I have enjoyed countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
